In order to fulfill Article 50 of the Constitution, South Aluminum Corporation considers development without regard to the environment as a one-dimensional is unsustainable and incomplete development and it is committed to the optimal use of raw materials, respect for the rights of local communities and citizens with the slogan of reduction, reuse and Knows recycling.
Management and reduction of greenhouse gases from pollution sources is one of the strategic goals of the company that projects and executive plans have been developed and are in the implementation stage.
Due to the fact that the company is designed based on international standards and green management, environmental requirements have been observed at a higher level than the Iranian environmental standard.

Creating a drip irrigation plan to reduce water consumption in green space

Commissioning and operation of pollution control units
The amount of smoke and dust purification is one of the most important parameters of pollution control systems in the aluminum industry, so that the efficiency of pollutant purification in this type of technology has reached 99.8%.
In the process of controlling the level of pollutants, the released fluoride is collected and returned to the production system.
In line with its social responsibility and with the aim of complying with national environmental requirements and standards related to air pollutants, South Aluminum Corporation has designed, implemented and operated a set of smoke and dust removal systems.
Dust collector systems are considered in various parts of the complex and in areas where material transfer and discharge, crushing of materials.
In total, in different areas of the complex, more than 44 sets of dust collection systems (Dedusting) have been included, which are briefly described below.
Electric bitumen absorber
During bitumen melting and liquid bitumen transfer operations, some steam is generated which must be purified in the atmosphere before discharge. This is done using the Electrical Precipitation process.
System FTC
The smoke generated in anode kilns mainly includes N2, CO2, H2O, O2, etc.
The FTC uses the alumina adsorption method to purify the exhaust fumes.
Smoke from the kiln first enters an evaporative cooling tower to reduce its temperature by sprinklers and cooling systems.

Controls pollutants from furnaces and reduces their release into the atmosphere

Launching a wastewater treatment system using a new membrane separation system
This unit has been created in order to recycle and prevent environmental pollution and also to supply the water needed for the development and maintenance of green space in the South Aluminum Corporation. One of the features of this unit in the reverse osmosis section is that it has used the latest technology of osmosis membrane systems.
